2.34 GWh! SVOLT Continues to Rank Fifth in Domestic Power Battery Installations for Two Consecutive MonthsOn December 11, the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance unveiled its latest data. In November 2024, SVOLT achieved 2.34 GWh in domestic power battery installations, marking a 68.35% year-over-year increase and raising its market share to 3.49%, securing the 5th place in the domestic market. From January to November, SVOLT’s total domestic power battery installations reached 14.21 GWh, placing the company 6th in China. Meanwhile, according to SNE Research, in the third quarter global rankings for power battery sales and shipments, SVOLT ranked 10th globally with $550 million in sales, accounting for 1.9% of the global market share from January to September. -
Winter Peak Demand Support: SVOLT’s 8.5MW/16.5MWh Commercial & Industrial Short Blade Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage Project Achieves Stable OperationOn September 6, 2024, an 8.5MW/16.5MWh commercial and industrial (C&I) Short Blade liquid-cooled energy storage project supported by SVOLT was successfully connected to the grid in Shanghai Pudong New Area. After nearly three months of stable operation, the project is expected to help alleviate the electricity shortage during winter peak demand in Shanghai. The system provides functions including peak cut as well as demand-side response. It supplies additional power during peak consumption periods and stores electricity during off-peak hours, helping stabilize power supply and enabling enterprises to avoid disruptions caused by outages or voltage fluctuations. -
1.9 GWh! SVOLT Sets a New Record for Battery Installations in OctoberOn November 11, the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance unveiled its latest data. In October 2024, SVOLT achieved a historic milestone with 1.9 GWh in domestic battery installations, marking a 47.28% increase from the previous month and a 36.69% year-over-year growth, propelling it to 5th place in the domestic market. Among these, SVOLT’s NCM power batteries accounted for 0.44 GWh of installations, a 41.93% increase from the previous month, securing a spot among the top three battery suppliers in China.
