Recently, research firm EVTank, China YiWei Institute of Economics, and the China Battery Industry Research Institute jointly released the China NEV Power Battery Industry Development White Paper (2025). In the report’s comparison of global power battery shipments from 2022 to 2024, SVOLT entered the Top 10 for the first time in three years.

On April 10, 2025, the 13th Energy Storage International Conference and Expo (ESIE 2025) opened in Beijing. Wang Xuefei, Deputy General Manager of SVOLT Energy Storage Product Management Center, delivered a keynote titled “Thermal-Composite Flying Stacking + Short Blade Batteries: Defining the Optimal Solution for the Future of Energy Storage” on the ESIE 2025 forum, outlining SVOLT’s technology breakthroughs and real-world progress in energy storage battery segment.

On January 13, 2025, the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance unveiled its latest data. In December 2024, SVOLT achieved 3.15 GWh in domestic power battery installations, achieved a breakthrough of 3 GWh in a month, marking a 108.61% year-over-year increase and raising its market share to 4.18%, securing the 5th place in the domestic market for three consecutive months.

On January 8, 2025, the 5th SVOLT Battery Day was held in Chengdu under the theme “Embrace the Future With SVOLT Trend”. Hundreds of representatives from local governments, OEMs, supply chain enterprises, investment firms, and mainstream media gathered to witness the launch of SVOLT’s latest innovative products and technologies.

On December 11, the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance unveiled its latest data. In November 2024, SVOLT achieved 2.34 GWh in domestic power battery installations, marking a 68.35% year-over-year increase and raising its market share to 3.49%, securing the 5th place in the domestic market. From January to November, SVOLT’s total domestic power battery installations reached 14.21 GWh, placing the company 6th in China. Meanwhile, according to SNE Research, in the third quarter global rankings for power battery sales and shipments, SVOLT ranked 10th globally with $550 million in sales, accounting for 1.9% of the global market share from January to September.

On September 6, 2024, an 8.5MW/16.5MWh commercial and industrial (C&I) Short Blade liquid-cooled energy storage project supported by SVOLT was successfully connected to the grid in Shanghai Pudong New Area. After nearly three months of stable operation, the project is expected to help alleviate the electricity shortage during winter peak demand in Shanghai. The system provides functions including peak cut as well as demand-side response. It supplies additional power during peak consumption periods and stores electricity during off-peak hours, helping stabilize power supply and enabling enterprises to avoid disruptions caused by outages or voltage fluctuations.

On November 11, the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance unveiled its latest data. In October 2024, SVOLT achieved a historic milestone with 1.9 GWh in domestic battery installations, marking a 47.28% increase from the previous month and a 36.69% year-over-year growth, propelling it to 5th place in the domestic market. Among these, SVOLT’s NCM power batteries accounted for 0.44 GWh of installations, a 41.93% increase from the previous month, securing a spot among the top three battery suppliers in China.
