On July 16, SVOLT held a mass production ceremony for the first cobalt-free battery in Jiangsu Province. This means that the world's first cobalt-free battery has come out of the laboratory and formally realized mass production, making SVOLT the first battery company in the world to break through the technical difficulties of cobalt-free battery and successfully achieve mass production.

Shanghai, China, April 20th, 2021 - The first Innovation Day of SVOLT with the theme of "Innovation Drives the Future" is officially launched during the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show today, which marks the brand strategy upgrade of SVOLT entering stage 2.0. On the afternoon of April 8th, the mass production of the cobalt-free cathode material of SVOLT formally started in its cathode material factory in Jintan, Changzhou. After it was announced that the cobalt-free batteries could be reserved around the world on the First Battery Day in China last December, SVOLT took a solid step in cobalt-free batteries from concept to reality.

On January 18, SVOLT Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the headquarters of Huayou Cobalt in Tongxiang.
