As the global new energy vehicle and energy storage markets continue to evolve, electric vehicle (EV) batteries have shifted from being a standalone component to a critical system shaping vehicle safety, performance, and overall competitiveness. For global automakers, selecting a battery supplier increasingly hinges not only on a high-safety, high-performance product portfolio but also on stable and reliable global delivery and service capabilities.

The high-profile 2025 Global Top 500 Unicorn Report, jointly issued by the Unicorn Enterprise Research Institute, the China Private Enterprise Research Center at Renmin University of China, and research institute for New Quality Productive Forces at Tsinghua University, and other authoritative organizations, was officially unveiled at the 2025 Top 500 Unicorn Enterprise Conference held in Qingdao. SVOLT has once again earned a place in the Global Unicorn Index 2025, ranking 49th in China and 153rd globally.

According to the latest data from SNE Research, the global EV battery installed capacity (covering BEV, PHEV and HEV) reached approximately 933.5 GWh in the first ten months of 2025, a robust 35.2% year-on-year growth. During the same period, SVOLT achieved a global EV battery installed capacity of 23.7 GWh—a remarkable year-on-year surge of 86.6%— ranking it first in growth rate among the global top 10 battery suppliers. This performance has driven its global market share up from 1.8% to 2.5%, demonstrating a strong growth momentum.

As a leading energy storage technology company from China, SVOLT showcased more than high-performance Short Blade cells, it also unveiled a “full-scenario short blade energy storage solution”. Built on the architecture of “short blade cells + stacking technology,” the solution highlights SVOLT’s latest achievements in global energy storage innovation.

From September 11 to 14, the 2025 International Forum on Chinese Automotive Industry Development was held in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin, where Yang Hongxin, Chairman and CEO of SVOLT, was invited to attend the forum. During the session on green solutions, Yang delivered a keynote speech titled “SVOLT’s Evolution and Commercialization of Solid-State Technology”, in which he outlined SVOLT's breakthrough progress in both semi-solid and solid-state batteries. For the first time, he also revealed SVOLT’s globally pioneering “Electrolyte Thermal Composite Transfer Process”, marking a major step forward for SVOLT in the commercialization of next-generation power battery technologies.

Recently, SVOLT’s 39MWh PV-storage integrated project in Xianaihe Village, Pinglu District, Shuozhou, Shanxi Province, was successfully commissioned and placed into operation, it signals further market recognition of SVOLT’s innovation in the energy storage segment. The project features SVOLT’s in-house 3.34MWh (1C) stacking, liquid-cooled energy storage system, built around three core strengths: high safety, high efficiency, and long service life. The project also introduces a market-oriented approach to energy storage sizing. Through tech-economic evaluation, the storage capacity is flexibly optimized to improve coordination across generation, grid, load, and storage, enabling functions such as peak cut and supporting higher utilization of renewable electricity.

Recently, SNE Research, a leading South Korean research institute, unveiled its global power battery installation rankings for January to May 2025. According to the data, SVOLT achieved an impressive 10.5 GWh in installations, marking a 110.1% year-over-year growth, and making it the only company on the ranking list with triple-digit growth.
