SVOLT Baoding Sci-Tech Innovation Park’s 10MW20MWh Energy Storage Project Completes Its Grid Connection
Recently, SVOLT successfully completed a grid connection for the 10MW/20MWh energy storage project at Baoding Sci-Tech Innovation Park, where the company served as the system integrator. This project marks another commercial and industrial (C&I) deployment in North China and adopts SVOLT’s proven, standardized 5MWh energy storage system solution, bringing fresh momentum to local sustainable development.

As a routine project within SVOLT’s energy storage portfolio, the smooth grid connection once again demonstrates the company’s ability to execute standardized delivery at scale in the C&I segment. The system integrates SVOLT’s in-house short blade stacking battery technology and liquid-cooling thermal management with mature, field-validated solutions designed to support safe, stable operation while also improving local green energy utilization and providing practical value for grid peak cut.
Once full-commission, the project is expected to enable the utilization of roughly 12 million kWh of clean electricity each year, which is equivalent to reducing standard coal consumption by about 4,800 tons and cutting CO₂ emissions by approximately 12,000 tons annually. These numbers may seem incremental on their own, but it’s exactly this kind of steady, real-world progress—project by project—that builds a durable foundation for regional energy transformation and advances China’s dual-carbon goals.
Over time, SVOLT has established a complete project development system in energy storage segment, with standardized workflows covering from solution design to long-term operations and maintenance. The Baoding project is another straightforward example of that system operating efficiently. SVOLT has delivered multiple similar energy storage projects nationwide. The steady rollout of these projects is helping different regions adjust their energy structures and move toward more sustainable growth.
Looking ahead, SVOLT will continue to expand its energy storage business with a pragmatic approach. By taking each project as a feedback loop to refine performance and strengthen execution efficiency, SVOLT will provide customers with more cost-effective energy storage solutions and contribute to a cleaner, lower-carbon energy system.
