On January 8, 2025, the 5th SVOLT Battery Day was held in Chengdu under the theme “Embrace the Future With SVOLT Trend”. Hundreds of representatives from local governments, OEMs, supply chain enterprises, investment firms, and mainstream media gathered to witness the launch of SVOLT’s latest innovative products and technologies.

From pioneering new technologies to leading the industry development, SVOLT has consistently driven progress. Starting with the introduction of the full-scenario short blade strategy in 2021, SVOLT fully rolled out its full-scenario short blade battery technology in 2023. In 2024, SVOLT completed the evolution from pioneer to the global leader in fast-charging short blade batteries, delivering over 270,000 sets, and achieved the global first shipments in fast-charging short blade battery segment, ranking among the top three in China with several best-selling models.

59kWh Ultra-High Capacity, 800V + 6C Supercharging: A New Wave of Groundbreaking Product Technologies Unveiled

As the global NEV market faces increasing competition, SVOLT has leveraged its strong technological foundation and continuous innovation to break into the off-road vehicle market. SVOLT launched its first off-road battery product: the 59kWh 800V hybrid battery with the world-largest capacity and the masterpiece of its short blade battery—Fengxing Short Blade Battery, featuring the two editions as 6C+ 800V Supercharging and 15 years/600,000 kilometers of durability.

The off-road battery was designed specifically for the harsh, unpredictable conditions of off-road vehicles. With high safety standards, excellent durability, and full-temperature high power capabilities, this battery can operate in extreme environments. In terms of safety, the battery adopts a fortress structure design, new process materials, and miniaturized battery design, with four layers of lateral protection and eight layers of longitudinal protection, enhanced by nano-thermal-insulation, nano-ceramic thermal insulation, and nano-fireproof coatings. These innovations significantly improve collision protection and thermal safety standards.

In terms of power and durability, SVOLT's off-road battery has a temperature range from -43°C to 60°C, providing a 50% increase in discharge energy at -40°C and a 40% boost in low-temperature power. The battery adopts effective active thermal dissipation technologies like the industry-first dual-medium integrated cooling plate technology, ensuring that the battery stays within optimal temperature ranges even in high temperatures (proven under desert conditions at 40°C). Additionally, the off-road battery can maintain continuous high-power output across all-temperature scenarios. In -20°C extreme cold, the battery's pulse discharge power reaches 5C, showcasing its extraordinary reliability and power performance in extreme climates.

As SVOLT continues to reach new heights in technology innovation, SVOLT has secured the titles of “King of Hybrid Battery” and “King of Short Blade Battery”, and has successfully upgraded its battery technology to the third generation of Short Blade cells. The masterpiece - Fengxing short blade battery is the result of this technological evolution. Featuring superconductive electrolytes, high-energy cathodes and anodes, composite separators, and thermal composite flying stack technology, the Fengxing short blade battery offers 6C charging rates and a 185Wh/kg energy density, enabling a 10%-80% charge in just 8.5 minutes. This dramatically improves charging efficiency.

Additionally, the Fengxing short blade battery incorporates anode protection technology, dual-crystal phase regulation for cathodes, and "high-strength, self-healing" electrolyte technology, which effectively controls lithium loss, improves interface stability, and extends the cycle life to over 5,000 cycles. Together with SVOLT’s smart control strategy, this battery offers an exceptional 15-year, 600,000 km lifespan.

 SVOLT’s newly launched Yuanlu Battery for commercial vehicles, with its long lifespan, fast charging capabilities, and outstanding durability, offers a more efficient and cost-effective solution for electrification. The Yuanlu battery includes long-life edition, fast-charging edition, and shared hybrid battery edition for commercial and passenger vehicles. The long-life edition has a single package capacity of 95.7kWh, supports 3C charging, and offers 8 years/1.5 million kilometers warranty. The fast-charging edition features a 91.4kWh capacity and supports 4C charging, allowing a 10%-80% charge in just 14 minutes.

SVOLT unveiled its shared hybrid battery pack for commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles, featuring a 13kWh capacity, a 360kW peak discharge power, and an industry-leading 350,000 cycles, significantly enhancing fuel efficiency and contributing to sustainable and low-carbon development.
