2.34 GWh! SVOLT Continues to Rank Fifth in Domestic Power Battery Installations for Two Consecutive Months

On December 11, the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance unveiled its latest data. In November 2024, SVOLT achieved 2.34 GWh in domestic power battery installations, marking a 68.35% year-over-year increase and raising its market share to 3.49%, securing the 5th place in the domestic market. From January to November, SVOLT’s total domestic power battery installations reached 14.21 GWh, placing the company 6th in China. Meanwhile, according to SNE Research, in the third quarter global rankings for power battery sales and shipments, SVOLT ranked 10th globally with $550 million in sales, accounting for 1.9% of the global market share from January to September.

Driven by the large-scale installation of its short blade batteries, SVOLT keeps sustained growth in domestic power battery installations. By October this year, SVOLT had successfully rolled off 200,000 Short Blade battery packs, maintaining its position as the global leader in shipments.

SVOLT’s battery orders have also experienced explosive growth. According to preliminary estimates, SVOLT expects to reach 220,000 units in the fourth quarter, showcasing an 83% increase compared to the 120,000 units in the previous quarter. Total units for the fourth quarter are expected to rise to 12.66 GWh, marking a 91% increase from 6.62 GWh in the previous quarter.

From steadily increasing battery installations to a surge in orders, SVOLT has clearly transformed an industry dark horse to a benchmark leader. This success is largely attributed to its forward-thinking technology strategy and differentiated product offerings.

SVOLT CEO Yang Hongxin has repeatedly emphasized that the perfection of Short Blade + Flying Stack represents the ultimate evolution in lithium battery technology, with the short blade battery being the optimal solution for blade-style batteries. During the early verification stages, the domestic PHEV market experienced rapid growth, and as one of the first power battery companies to enter the market, SVOLT has capitalized on this opportunity, benefiting significantly from the industry boom.

Since 2023, SVOLT has successively unveiled three PHEV battery products: 117Ah, 90Ah, and 62Ah. In July 2025, SVOLT will launch its 800V Hybrid NCM Dragon Armor battery, which is also the industry's first 4C hybrid short blade cell.

With an increasingly comprehensive product line, SVOLT has already secured power battery orders for several popular models from leading automakers, including GWM, Geely, Dongfeng, BMW, and Stellantis. In early December, GWM officially kicked off the pre-sales of the Tank 500 Hi4-Z, featuring SVOLT 59kWh high-capacity hybrid battery.

SVOLT’s success is not limited to China, but also in the global markets. SVOLT CEO Yang Hongxin revealed that, from January to November, SVOLT shipped 116,097 vehicles to overseas customers, with a total of 5.8 GWh battery installations. This represents that SVOLT has achieved 26.77% of overseas shipments for the year. This demonstrates that, from “product export” to “capacity export,” SVOLT’s products have firmly established their reputation in international markets. As global orders continue to grow, SVOLT is set to reach new milestones.

For SVOLT, on-time delivery is one of its current priorities. Both the Chengdu base and Yancheng base are running at full capacity. Specifically, Yancheng’s eight short blade production lines are operating at full capacity to ensure smooth order delivery, primarily catering to the increasing demands from GWM, Geely, Stellantis, and other mainstream automakers.

As the year-end sprint begins, automakers are releasing more incentives, which will further boost overall market demands and dramatically increase the needs for power batteries. In this environment, the next wave of orders will help SVOLT rapidly enter an “acceleration ignition phase”, marking the start of an explosive growth period.
