1.9 GWh! SVOLT Sets a New Record for Battery Installations in October
On November 11, the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance unveiled its latest data. In October 2024, SVOLT achieved a historic milestone with 1.9 GWh in domestic battery installations, marking a 47.28% increase from the previous month and a 36.69% year-over-year growth, propelling it to 5th place in the domestic market. Among these, SVOLT’s NCM power batteries accounted for 0.44 GWh of installations, a 41.93% increase from the previous month, securing a spot among the top three battery suppliers in China.

SVOLT’s rapid growth in battery installations is attributed to the explosive growth in fourth-quarter orders and the increasing market recognition of its short blade battery. Data shows that SVOLT's fourth-quarter vehicle orders reached 220,000 units, showcasing an 83% increase from the previous quarter, with total orders amounting to 12.66 GWh. As the pioneer of short blade technology, SVOLT has successfully rolled off its 200,000th short blade battery pack, becoming the global leader in shipments, and gaining the trust of customers such as Geely, Great Wall Motors, and Stellantis.
To ensure high-quality and on-time deliveries as order volumes continue to rise, SVOLT’s production lines across all its manufacturing bases have been running at full capacity. SVOLT has significantly boosted production efficiency and product quality by incorporating Flying Stack equipment at its Yancheng and Chengdu bases, with its in-house thermal composite Flying Stack technology, and the third-generation advanced battery production lines, these innovations have greatly enhanced the production efficiency and quality of the short blade batteries. At present, SVOLT Chengdu base and Yancheng base are running at full capacity to ensure the on-time delivery of the fourth-quarter orders. Multiple ongoing projects are also focused on technological advancements and production line upgrades, continuously improving delivery efficiency to meet the growing demands of customers.
