SVOLT Shines at ASEW Thailand 2024, Boosting New Energy Storage Development

From July 3 to 5, 2024, the global energy spotlight turned to Bangkok as ASEW (ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week) officially opened in Thailand. SVOLT made a strong presence with its latest technologies and innovative products. From high-performance energy storage cells to intelligent, end-to-end energy storage system solutions, SVOLT’s achievements in energy storage drew sustained attention from industry professionals and attendees throughout the ASEW.

At the joint booth hosted by SVOLT and its partner BCPG, a diverse cell lineup was featured, including distinctive short blade energy storage cells, conventional VDA-format energy storage cells, and pouch energy storage cells. SVOLT also introduced energy storage systems designed for utility-scale, commercial and industrial, and residential scenarios.

SVOLT showcased its flagship product from its Short Blade family: a dedicated 325Ah energy storage cell. Building on sustained R&D and innovation, SVOLT also launched upgraded energy storage cells with higher energy density and larger capacity, including 350Ah and 770Ah products. The 350Ah cell maintains the same dimensions as the 325Ah cell while delivering an upgraded chemistry system; the 730Ah cell builds on the 350Ah platform with increased thickness and doubled capacity. Across the portfolio, cells are manufactured using SVOLT’s leading Flying Stacking process, further strengthening safety, stability, and cost advantages to deliver an outstanding cost performance. In addition, SVOLT introduced a broader set of energy storage cell options for ASEAN markets, including 100Ah, 106Ah, and 222Ah VDA cells, as well as 50Ah and 65Ah pouch cells, addressing energy storage needs across a wide range of scenarios.

SVOLT also presented its Blade Wasp series of energy storage solutions, powered by SVOLT’s in-house Flying Stacking cells. For utility-scale applications, SVOLT’s liquid-cooled energy storage container systems integrating Short Blade cells offer four capacity configurations: 6.9MWh, 5.0MWh, 3.46MWh, and 3.34MWh, with 6.9MWh positioned as one of the world’s largest-capacity Short Blade liquid-cooled energy storage systems. For commercial and industrial scenarios, SVOLT introduced a 200kWh all-in-one C&I system and a 639kWh energy storage cabinet tailored for ASEAN markets. For residential applications, products including Blade Wasp No. 1, an ultra-slim residential energy storage solution, and the E-PowerCube all-in-one engineering system were also showcased. The ultra-slim residential product, in particular, attracted strong interest due to its DIY-style customization.
